Stacy Martin

Client Services Manager

Stacy's career spans 20 years as a seasoned leader dedicated to education and community development. Her professional journey includes ten years of recruiting and mobilizing volunteers with Compassion International, followed by a decade as the Founder of an education-focused nonprofit in Nicaragua. Today, she continues her passion for language and learning as an ESL instructor at the local community college. Stacy earned her Master of Education degree from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI.

Stacy and her husband, Cory, have been married for 29 years and call Kernersville, NC, home. They are both from the same small town in Michigan and began dating in high school. They are now the proud parents of four adult children and have been blessed with a daughter-in-law and two "adorable" grandsons. When she isn’t teaching or leading, Stacy is likely found outdoors—hiking, kayaking, or gardening.

The Martins’ personal path took a meaningful turn as they navigated the experience of one child coming out as transgender and another as gay while on the mission field. While the journey involved significant processing, Stacy and Cory view it as a season of profound growth, testifying to how much God has taught them about love and grace through it all. They have been part of the ETJ Care Team since 2023 and are committed to caring for other families going through a similar experience.
