Marki is a mom of four adult children and two sons-in-law.  She is a passionate believer in the Lord and His overwhelming love for His children.  One of her deepest desires throughout her life has been to communicate and demonstrate His love to everyone around her.  In 2001, through a story only He could write, God placed a child through adoption into her life.  Anna BaoChun, then 14-months-old, joined the Manby household and completed their family.  At age 16, after much struggle and angst,  Anna became AJ, a transgendered male.  Marki considers it a privilege to have the opportunity to walk through this process and life experience with AJ as it has deepened and strengthened her faith in our ever-loving God.  Marki met Greg and Lynn through a small group at church and soon realized her call to assist them in their efforts to support parents of LGBTQ+ children.  It is an honor and a blessing to be working alongside them.
