Greg & Lynn's Story
In this 6-minute video clip, Andy Stanley introduces Greg and Lynn McDonald. They share their story, their learnings, and how God changed their hearts when they discovered that their son was gay.
Andy Stanley, Senior Pastor North Point Church, and author of twenty books, including more than a dozen bestselling titles says, "Greg and Lynn have done a remarkable job with a difficult subject: raising a child who is gay in a conservative Christian culture that doesn't always know how to respond or how to help. They tackle tough issues with grace, compassion, and integrity." David Gushee, distinguished university professor of Christian ethics at Mercer University and author of Changing Our Mind and 19 other books, says, "Greg and Lynn's story needs to be heard." |

tim cooper: core vs periphery
Everyone has opinions. When it comes to things like sports and movies, differing opinions keep things interesting. But as topics get more serious, opinions can become divisive. Theological opinions can stir emotion. But differences in theology don't have to separate us. It's all about how we treat one another when we disagree. In this video, Tim Cooper, Director of Adult Ministries at Browns Bridge Church and North Point Ministries Starting Point Director, helps us identify which beliefs we consider essential to the Christian faith. Understanding the priority we place on specific beliefs can enable us to be kinder and more graceful when talking with people who don't see eye-to-eye with us. |

Brand: New by Andy Stanley
a 5-part series
How should the world view the church? Unfortunately, we've created a brand for the church that Jesus never intended. But, we have the opportunity to give everyone a Brand: New perspective. In this, at time unsettling, 5-part series, Andy Stanley shows us how we can return Christianity to the brand Jesus intended. This series is not focused on the LGBTQ+ community, but it has direct and practical implications. |
