Trudy and her husband Dave live in the Atlanta area. They volunteer on the Embracing the Journey Care Team, where they facilitate a virtual Embracing the Journey Parent Support Group. Trudy says, "we were blessed when introduced to Greg and Lynn and their ministry by a counselor in our church." When their only child came out as being transgender as a young adult, it rocked their world. The Collett's have learned they can love both God and their Transgender child. 
 
Trudy is a nurse and works in a large healthcare system supporting the EHR. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, time in the garden, and playing with her Corgi named Marsha.
